Six travel advisors from Australasia have the chance to join an exclusive eight-night hosted famil to Britain in February 2027.
The promotion is being run by VisitBritain in partnership with Emirates and destinations Cymru Wales, Experience Oxfordshire, Marketing Manchester and Visit West.
The famil will see the advisors travelling to and from Britain in Emirates’ premium cabins and then exploring Manchester, Wales, Bristol, Bath and Oxfordshire.
The itinerary will showcase a mix of Britain’s famous attractions, regional experiences and hidden gems with highlights including Wrexham, Conwy, Llandudno, Portmeirion, Cardiff, Bath (main picture), Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Waddesdon Manor.
Two advisors will be selected from each VisitBritain Travel Advisor Showcase event in Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne during VisitBritain’s Australia trade mission & NZ Workshop, taking place from September 9-18.
Designed to build firsthand destination knowledge, the programme will provide advisors with new inspiration, fresh products and experiences, and itinerary ideas to share with clients and help drive visitation across the nations and regions of Britain.
To be eligible, advisors must register for and attend their local VisitBritain Travel Advisor Showcase and submit an Expression of Interest by 11.59pm (AEST) on September 6. Applicants must attend their Showcase event in person to be eligible.
Applications will be assessed on advisors’ ability to creatively sell and promote Britain, inspire travellers through their own channels and demonstrate innovative approaches to growing Britain visitation and sales.
The trade mission will see more than 25 British suppliers meet with more than 450 buyers and advisors from Australia and New Zealand to do business.
