Respected travel agency owner Tania Botha is growing her business footprint with the opening of Helloworld Travel Wagga Wagga in the Riverina region of NSW.
Already the owner of the successful Temora Travel, the new addition marks a significant milestone in Tania’s journey as a business owner and long-standing member of the Helloworld Travel network.
Temora Travel has been a respected member of Helloworld’s associate network for 15 years and was recognised as the company’s National Associate Agency of the Year (Single Store) in 2026.
The expansion reflects both Tania’s continued success and her confidence in the future of retail travel.
This move is particularly notable as it sees Tania successfully operate across both the associate and branded retail networks, demonstrating the flexibility of the Helloworld Travel model and her ambition to continue growing her business.
Tania’s decision to add a branded Helloworld store to her portfolio also reflects the ongoing demand for professional travel advice and the enduring value customers place on trusted, face-to-face service.
“I’m incredibly excited to open Helloworld Travel Wagga Wagga and take this next step in my business journey,” said Tania.
“Growing my business has been something I’ve been working towards for some time and it’s wonderful to see it become a reality.
“I’ve always believed in the value of personalised service, trusted advice and building genuine relationships with clients and this expansion gives us the opportunity to bring that same approach to even more travellers.
“Joining the Helloworld Travel branded network is also an exciting step; it gives us access to a highly recognised brand, while continuing to build on the strong relationships we’ve developed through Temora Travel.”
Adrian Boccia, GM Network Development at Helloworld Travel, congratulated Tania on the expansion.
“It’s always rewarding to see successful members continue to grow their businesses and Tania’s expansion into multi-store ownership is a fantastic example of the opportunities that exist within our network.
“Tania has built an impressive business by combining outstanding customer service with a genuine passion for travel and we’re delighted to support her as she takes this exciting next step.”
The expansion follows the acquisition of the long-established Helloworld Travel Wagga Wagga business from respected industry veteran, Gil McLachlan.
With more than four decades in the Australian travel industry, Gil, together with his wife Leonie, established a travel agency in West Wyalong in 1979, building what would become the McLachlan Travel Group.
