Two very familiar faces will be alongside Santa Claus at this year’s CATO Christmas lunch.
Charlie Trevena of Destination Webinars and Richard Taylor, Managing Director & Founder of Talent For Travel, have been named as co-MCs of the highly-popular function to be held on December 3 at Le Montage, Lilyfield in Sydney.
The duo will lead a lively end-of-year celebration, bringing travel industry colleagues together for an afternoon of entertainment, networking and stories from the road.
The whole travel industry is invited, including travel agents, suppliers, tour operators and wholesalers.
For the first time, following ATIA’s merger with CATO, ATIA members can purchase tickets at the discounted member price.
Charlie Trevena returns to the CATO stage after hosting its International Women’s Day lunch in March while Richard Taylor, fresh off hosting Beyond Borders Travel Summit, will join her to bring their warmth, humour and connections to the event.
Together, they will guide a program featuring a panel of six tour guides from around the world sharing weird and wonderful stories from touring.
“There’s nothing quite like the CATO Christmas Lunch and I’m excited to be co-hosting this year’s event with Richard,” said Charlie.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for the whole industry to come together at the end of a big year, catch up with old friends, meet new faces and celebrate.”
“Charlie has a wonderful ability to make everyone feel part of the event and Richard brings a great rapport to the stage,” said Mira Yates, Director of CATO & Education.
“We’re excited to see these two travel legends team up for a lunch that’s all about bringing our industry together and having some fun.
“This year’s CATO Christmas Lunch is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever, bringing together not just our touring community, but the wider travel industry
