Aranui Cruises has released its 2028 program, with new-build Aranoa set to operate a full year of voyages across the Austral, Society and Tuamotu islands.

The 198-guest passenger-freighter will sail 19 voyages to the Australs, up from 14 in 2027.

Six 13-day roundtrip cruises from Papeete will visit all five inhabited Austral Islands – Tubuai, Rurutu, Rimatara, Raivavae and Rapa Iti – alongside Bora Bora, Raiatea and Moorea.

A further 13 voyages will operate on a 12-day itinerary, replacing Rapa Iti with Huahine as part of a gradual approach to tourism in the remote island community.

Aranoa will also offer a five-day Tuamotu cruise and two 12-day voyages to Pitcairn and the Gambier Islands.

Meanwhile, Aranui 5 will continue operating its Marquesas program with 23 voyages in 2028, combining passenger cruising with cargo deliveries to the six inhabited Marquesas Islands.

An early booking offer provides 15% off Aranoa voyages and 10% off Aranui 5 Marquesas sailings booked by December 31.

Discounted fares start from $8,495 per person twin share for Aranoa’s 13-day Austral Islands itinerary and from $8,037 per person twin share for Aranui 5’s Marquesas voyages.
