Australian travel advisors, agencies and Tourism Australia were among the winners at Virtuoso’s 2026 global awards, announced during the luxury travel network’s annual Travel Week in Las Vegas.

Tourism Australia was named ‘Best Tourism Board’, recognising its engagement with Virtuoso’s advisor network and its work promoting Australia to international luxury travellers.

FBI Travel received the ‘Best Agency Culture award for Australia and New Zealand’, while Carole Smethurst of Bicton Travel was named the region’s ‘Most Admired Advisor’.

Tammy Sfeir of Travelcall Sydney was recognised as Australia and New Zealand’s ‘Rising Star’, an award celebrating new-to-industry advisors demonstrating strong production and engagement within the Virtuoso network.

Anthony Goldman of Goldman Travel Corporation received the Ruby of Siam, one of Virtuoso’s longest-standing honours. The award recognises an agency owner or manager who contributes significant time, expertise and support to strengthening the wider network.

The awards were presented during the Virtuoso Awards Gala, which concluded the 38th annual Virtuoso Travel Week. More than 4,800 travel professionals from 105 countries attended this year’s event.
