The 2026 Treasures of the South Pacific Australian Roadshow has concluded after six events, attracting the highest number of travel advisors in the program’s history.
The roadshow opened with events on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast before continuing to Wollongong, Sydney and Melbourne.
Richard Skewes, Treasures of the South Pacific President, said attendance reflected strong trade interest in the region.
“This has been our strongest Australian roadshow yet. To reach more agents than ever before across six cities is a fantastic result and a real reflection of the appetite that exists for the South Pacific,” Mr Skewes said.
Representatives from 11 Pacific Island destinations took part alongside the Hidden Treasures collective, with the program focused on strengthening advisors’ destination knowledge and helping keep South Pacific travel front of mind.
Fiji Airways supported the roadshow as major prize sponsor, with additional backing from Pacific Trade Investment Commission Australia, Pacific Trade Investment Australia and the Pacific Tourism Organisation.
Following this year’s response, organisers have confirmed the roadshow will return to Australia in 2027.
“Based on the response this year, there is no question – we will be back in 2027,” Mr Skewes said.
