A new travel commerce campaign in Mississippi is turning a creator-led road trip into a bookable itinerary, linking destination content directly with accommodation and travel products.
BYRDLI has partnered with Visit Mississippi and Travel South USA on Mississippi Found, featuring US-based photographer and travel creator Nicole Zelkowitz, who will travel through the state until the end of September.
The journey will take Ms Zelkowitz from Tupelo through the Mississippi Delta and Jackson before continuing to the Gulf Coast, with accommodation, itinerary components and recommended stays progressively added to her own BYRDLI Travel Club.
Rather than directing followers to third-party affiliate links, the platform allows creators to curate and sell hotels, multi-stay itineraries and packages through their own travel storefronts, with booking, payment, fulfilment and attribution handled within the system.
Vanessa Richards, BYRDLI Co-founder and CEO, said the model was designed to connect creator influence with the booking process.
“As Nicole discovers Mississippi, she can turn those discoveries into her own travel products, from the hotels she stays in to her full itinerary and package, inside a Travel Club she owns,” Ms Richards said.
For Visit Mississippi, the activation provides another way to translate destination storytelling into measurable booking activity.
Katie Coats, Visit Mississippi Chief Marketing Officer, said the partnership created a clearer path between inspiration and trip planning.
“This partnership gives us a new way to share those stories while creating a clearer path for inspired travelers to begin planning and booking their own Mississippi experience,” Ms Coats said.
The Mississippi products will remain available after the creator trip concludes, with the activation forming part of a wider collaboration between BYRDLI and Travel South USA. |
