Virgin Australia has launched an early bird Europe sale with destinations including popular travel hotspots such as Barcelona, Rome, London and Paris.
Fares start from $1,641 return while Velocity Frequent Flyer members can also earn up to 24,000 bonus Velocity Points on eligible return bookings.
The sale fares can be booked directly through the Virgin Australia website until midnight (AEST) October 30 (unless sold out prior).
The flights, operated on behalf of Virgin Australia through its strategic partnership with Qatar Airways, include departures from most major Australian cities via Doha (departing Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide), connecting travellers to more than 40 destinations across Europe and Qatar Airways’ award-winning onboard experience.

Velocity bonus Points offer
- 3,000 bonus Velocity Points per direct flight between Australia and Doha when booking a Virgin Australia Choice or Qatar Airways Convenience or Classic fare.
- 6,000 bonus Velocity Points per direct flight between Australia and Doha when booking a Virgin Australia Flex or Qatar Airways Comfort fare.
- 12,000 bonus Velocity Points per direct flight between Australia and Doha when booking a Virgin Australia or Qatar Airways Business Class fare
To earn the bonus Velocity Points, members need to activate the offer on the Velocity website or app here and book an eligible flight for travel between January 17, 2027, and October 31, 2027.
