The 12-day/11-night trip was designed to equip partners with the knowledge and insight to sell East Africa with confidence.
It was led by James Wallace Smith, Ynot Concepts’ Sales and Marketing Manager, and James Haigh, Lemala’s Head of Sales and Marketing.
Highlights spanned Tarangire’s baobab-dotted landscapes and elephant herds, and dramatic Ngorongoro crater experiences while staying at the stylish new Osonjoi Lodge.
In the Serengeti, partners enjoyed close-up wildlife encounters including private cheetah and leopard sightings, and a sunrise hot air balloon safari while luxuriating at Lemala Ewanjan and Nanyukie.
The journey concluded in Uganda at Wildwaters Lodge, a lush private island retreat on the River Nile near Jinja.
Lemala’s seamless circuit-style itineraries were matched by a strong commitment to sustainability and community, with solar-powered camps, advanced water systems and meaningful local engagement through village tours in both Tanzania and Uganda.
“This famil gives our partners a genuine, on-the-ground understanding of what makes Lemala so special,” said James Wallace Smith.
“From the seamless logistics to the diversity of experiences across Tanzania and Uganda, it really brings the product to life.
“The energy and feedback from the group has been incredibly positive and we’re confident this will translate into strong future bookings across Australia and New Zealand.”
Participating partners included Yvonne Barden, This is Africa; Sarah Brown, Adventure World; Susan Lock, Safari Guru; Jodie Simos, Adventure Destinations; and Mauricio Zarzar, Eclipse Travel.
