American Express and ALL Accor have expanded their partnership across Australasia, giving eligible membership rewards card members a new way to convert points into hotel stays, dining and experiences across Accor’s global network.
Nick Alexander, American Express Vice President of Cobrand, Loyalty and Partnerships for Australia and New Zealand, said the expansion gave card members more choice in how they were rewarded.
“Travel is a popular way in which our card members use their membership rewards points. This addition of a membership rewards transfer benefit with ALL Accor provides more ways for Australian and New Zealand card members to turn those points into travel experiences,” Mr Alexander said.
Adrian Williams, Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer, said the partnership opened the full ALL Accor ecosystem to Amex card members.
“By converting membership rewards points into ALL Accor points, members can access everything from stays at our properties locally and around the world, to unique on-property experiences and exclusive events,” Mr Williams said.
Card members can now transfer five membership rewards points for one ALL Accor reward point, redeemable across Accor’s global network spanning more than 45 brands including Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Peppers and Mantra.
In addition to the new transfer benefit, eligible Centurion card members receive ALL Accor platinum status, including complimentary breakfast, lounge access, room upgrades and early check-in and late check-out.
Consumer, SBS and Corporate platinum card members receive ALL Accor Gold status with a welcome drink, Wi-Fi, room upgrades and bonus ALL Accor points each membership year.
