Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Sydney and Jetstar have launched a five-day travel campaign.

Running from now until June 21, the initiative promotes Jetstar flights to South Korea at some of the most competitive prices of the year.

The campaign arrives at a moment when Australian interest in Korea has never been stronger.

Visitor numbers from Australia to Korea have grown an average of 11% year on year, with the destination fast cementing itself as one of the most exciting and sought-after travel experiences in Asia.

From the neon-lit streets of Seoul and ancient palaces of Gyeongju to the dramatic coastline of Busan and the volcanic landscapes of Jeju Island, Korea offers an experience for even the most seasoned traveller.

“We are seeing a genuine surge of interest in Korea from Australian travellers,” said Mr Hyeongjoon Kim, Director at KTO Sydney.

“Australians are discovering Korea in record numbers and what they find there exceeds every expectation. This campaign with Jetstar is a fantastic opportunity to make that trip a reality at a price that makes it even easier to say yes.”

The campaign will run across paid digital and social media channels, driving consumers to explore Jetstar’s Korea flight offerings and inspiring them to take the leap.

It will support awareness and ticket sales for Jetstar’s Korea routes, with a focus on services connecting Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Incheon.

As part of the campaign, Jetstar will promote sale fares to Korea, with fares starting from $330 from Sydney to Incheon, $334 from Brisbane to Incheon and $439 from Melbourne to Incheon (via Sydney), across selected travel periods.
