Cathay Pacific has unveiled its newly redesigned flagship lounge at Hong Kong International Airport.
Ronald Lam, Cathay Group Chief Executive Officer, said the reopening of The Wing, First, at Terminal 1 marked an important milestone in the evolution of the airline’s flagship lounge design.
“Through our commitment of well over $HK100 billion in investments into our fleet, cabin and lounge products, and digital innovation, we will continue to elevate the journey at every touchpoint,” Mr Lam said.
The redesigned lounge blends contemporary design with residential comfort, introducing a more holistic approach to space, dining and service.
Key spaces include the Bureau, a dedicated workspace area, the Retreat and Alcove wellness and relaxation zones, and two dining options – the Atrium for all-day dining and the Dining Room for a more formal experience.
A pantry offers self-serve light meals and snacks, while 12 private shower suites are also available.

The Wing, First is part of Cathay’s broader lounge enhancement plan, which began with redesigns of The Bridge in Hong Kong and the Cathay Pacific Lounge in Beijing last year.
The airline will also introduce its first dedicated lounge in New York later this year when it moves to JFK’s new Terminal 6 building. The Wing, Business will close for its own renovation before reopening in 2027.
