Australian business owners are discovering that business class does not have to be a once-a-year indulgence, thanks to The IFLYflat Flights Club, a premium membership program that turns everyday business expenses into luxury travel experiences.
Now, with a new partnership between Accor Plus and The Flights Club, that transformation extends even further, from the seat to the suite.
Co-founded by frequent flyer expert Steve Hui and travel entrepreneur Steve Pirie Nally, The Flights Club targets business owners with annual turnovers between $1 and $10 million. The program helps them convert routine costs such as tax payments, supplier invoices, payroll and operational expenses into reward points and business class flight redemptions.
“Most Australian business owners don’t realise the goldmine of points they could be earning from their corporate expenses,” said Hui. “Every BAS payment, every pay run, every supplier invoice could be generating value for them.”
A strategic shift in how payments are made can yield big returns. “When savvy businesses pay around 2% in fees, we can help them extract 4% or more back in value through points,” Hui explained. “A business spending $1 million annually is sitting on about $40,000 worth of business class flights, they just need to unlock it.”
In a move that strengthens its value proposition, Accor Plus, Accor’s leading travel and lifestyle subscription business, has announced a strategic partnership with The IFLYflat Flights Club.
The collaboration is designed to help smart travellers and business owners make the most of their spending, converting everyday expenses into premium travel experiences both in the air and on the ground.
As part of the partnership, Accor Plus will introduce a virtual masterclass on 11 November led by Steve Hui, known as “The Points Whisperer”, teaching members how to unlock the full lifestyle and financial potential of their reward points.
The partnership also launches a co-branded podcast series, Always Business Class, featuring Hui and Pirie Nally in conversation with high-profile entrepreneurs about business growth, travel, lifestyle and reward-points mastery. The initiative forms part of a broader collaboration that will soon include live roadshow events and fireside chats in Sydney, Melbourne and other Australian cities through 2026.
This partnership integrates seamlessly with the newly launched ALL Accor+ Explorer subscription, a premium travel membership that delivers elite hotel benefits across 4,500 properties worldwide. Subscribers gain ALL Accor Gold status or higher, along with two complimentary hotel nights annually, up to 50% off dining and a guaranteed 15% off stays globally.
“More than three in every five of our 450,000 plus members already combine business and leisure travel,” said Emilie Couton, CEO of Accor Plus. “Our new partnership helps our members make smarter choices in the air, while on the ground ALL Accor+ Explorer continues to deliver elevated travel experiences.”
The collaboration also introduces an exclusive offer for ALL Accor+ Explorer members to join The Flights Club Accelerator for $2,500 plus GST. Members receive a tailored points strategy and the Points Flight Concierge service, which helps them secure one full return business class seat valued up to $10,000 using their points.
Designed for businesses spending between $300,000 and $1 million annually, The Flights Club Accelerator will now also include a bundled ALL Accor+ Explorer membership as a reciprocal benefit.
“With The Flights Club, you fly better. With ALL Accor+ Explorer, you stay better,” said Hui. “It just makes sense. Together we’re delivering exceptional value at every altitude.”
Platinum membership at $6,000 plus GST offers a personalised frequent flyer strategy, booking concierge and up to four annual business class reward seat bookings valued at over $40,000 in retail fares. Founding member Sara Phillips saved $70,000 in business class travel in just 12 months, spending only $8,000 to access flights that would have otherwise been out of reach.
“Our ambition is simple, that our members never fly economy again,” said Pirie Nally. “We’re building a community of business leaders who understand that how you travel is just as important as where you’re going.”
