Delta has completed the rollout of free global Wi-Fi across its Asia Pacific routes, extending onboard connectivity to travellers flying between Australia, New Zealand and Los Angeles.

Presented by T-Mobile, the service is available to SkyMiles members and allows passengers to connect one or more devices once boarding doors close.

Travellers can use the connection for messaging, email, web browsing, social media, photo sharing and video streaming on their own devices.

With the Pacific rollout now complete, Delta said free Wi-Fi is available across its full international network, with close to 1,300 aircraft equipped with connectivity.

The expansion closes one of the airline’s remaining coverage gaps and gives Australia and New Zealand passengers access to the same onboard connectivity available across Delta’s broader global network.
