Velocity Frequent Flyer members have until May 15 to activate one of the program’s biggest offers of the year, with the choice of double Velocity Points or double Status Credits on eligible Virgin Australia flights.
The ‘Pick Your Bonus’ offer applies to eligible bookings made until May 15 for travel through to December 31.
Members simply activate their chosen benefit in the app, book an eligible Virgin Australia marketed and operated flight at www.virginaustralia.com and enter their Velocity number at the time of booking.
Members choosing double points could earn up to 1,664 Velocity Points on a one-way Sydney to Brisbane economy flight, while those chasing status could earn up to 122 Status Credits on a return business class flight from Brisbane to Bali.
Status tier benefits available to Velocity Silver, Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus and Forever Gold members include lounge access, priority check-in, preferential seating and boarding, complimentary business class upgrade access and additional baggage allowances.
Members can only choose one benefit and cannot change their selection once made. The offer applies to domestic, Trans-Tasman and international short haul flights and does not include Reward Seats or long haul international flights.
