A new global brand campaign is placing greater emphasis on the onboard experience and the emotional side of cruise travel, moving the focus away from simply where a journey goes.

Crystal’s That Crystal Feeling campaign will run through September 30, 2027, across connected TV, digital video, print, digital out-of-home and social media.

The campaign centres on the idea of slowing down at sea, with imagery and storytelling built around the rhythm of a day on board rather than a traditional destination-led travel message.

Peter Chipchase, AKTG Chief Brand Officer, said the campaign was designed to highlight the freedom to step away from the pressure to constantly do and see more while travelling.

“With ‘That Crystal Feeling,’ we wanted to celebrate the luxury of doing the opposite. It’s the freedom to slow down, to wander without a plan, to linger a little longer and to let the world unfold around you,” Mr Chipchase said.

The creative follows guests through moments of dining, conversation, music, movement and quiet time, with the aim of presenting the cruise experience through memory and emotion rather than a checklist of destinations.

The campaign was developed by Crystal’s in-house creative team and reflects a broader shift in how the company presents its brand, with personalised service, dining, entertainment and onboard spaces positioned as central to the journey.

Crystal currently operates Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, with three new ocean ships also planned.

Crystal Grace is under construction and scheduled to debut in 2028, followed by sister ships in 2031 and 2034.
