Intrepid Travel’s global celebration of culture, connection and community saw events take place across 31 countries and activations in Melbourne, London and Toronto.

In Melbourne, Olympic gold medallist Noemie Fox, chef Brendan Pang, North Melbourne Football Club and creators Lucy Neville and Aurelia St Clair hosted competitions for Intrepid travel vouchers.

Meanwhile Investa and Intrepid teamed up for a surprise ‘Spin the Wheel’ giveaway outside Intrepid HQ, offering exclusive trip discounts and goodie bags for the public.

The event was created to spotlight the power of travel to create positive change, while recognising the people who make it possible: from tour leaders and travellers to local partners and the global Intrepid team.

Intrepid Day also delivered an extraordinary fundraising result for the company’s not-for-profit arm The Intrepid Foundation.

The global Intrepid community raised $50,000 in a single day, more than doubling the original goal of $24,000. That impact has now reached $150,000, which will be distributed to more than 50 grassroots partners around the world.

An additional 139 donations were made to The Intrepid Foundation’s general fund, further increasing the day’s collective impact.

Timed for July 24 to symbolise Intrepid’s 24/7 global presence, the event is set to become an annual fixture on the company’s calendar, reinforcing its commitment to purpose-led travel and long-term community impact.
