HX Expeditions has expanded its Greenland offering with a new collection of immersive experiences.

Available from June through the 2027 season, they have been developed in close collaboration with Greenlandic community partners.

Amber Wilson, HX Expeditions Australia and New Zealand Sales Director, said South Greenland represented the next great frontier for adventurous Aussie travellers.

“Uncovering this wilderness on foot allows our guests to move beyond the traditional sightseeing lens and experience the Arctic exactly as it is: wild, unpredictable and deeply moving,” Ms Wilson said.

The centrepiece of the new offering is the Into the Elements: Greenland Experience, a multi-day wilderness immersion limited to nine guests and priced from €1,500 (approx. $AU2,475) per person.

Available exclusively on MS Roald Amundsen Arctic Canada and Greenland sailings from September 21, the experience includes a six-kilometre introductory hike, a science-focused boat journey, an overnight glamping stay with local storytelling and a 7.5-kilometre ascent to a series of spectacular waterfalls.

Additional new experiences for 2026/27 include boat cruises to the Ikka Fjords to view rare mineral formations rising from the seabed, discovery and sea kayaking through Greenland’s pristine fjords, guided walks led by local Inuit partners and new boat excursions in Disko Bay.

All new Greenland experiences are covered by the HX Greenland Promise, a guest protection policy offering flexibility should plans need to change.
