Both travel agent and client have come out on top thanks to Viking’s ongoing Virtual Explorer Session program.
Kendall Roberts, Platinum Elite Travel Advisor at MTA Travel, recently earned $1,000 in Rewards by Viking points after inviting a client to attend Viking’s Alaska & The Inside Passage Virtual Explorer Session.
Her client, David, was randomly selected as the major prize winner, receiving a complimentary companion cruise fare valued at up to $10,000.
In addition to the major prize, Kendall (left) also earned the standard Virtual Explorer Session incentive for her client’s attendance.
“To share the Virtual Explorer Sessions with my clients and give them a direct insight into my role as their travel advisor was something fresh and encouraging,” said Ms Roberts.

Viking’s next Virtual Explorer Session, France’s Finest, takes place on July 16. Advisors who invite clients to attend will give them the chance to win a complimentary companion fare valued at $12,000, while also putting themselves in the running to receive $1,000 in Rewards by Viking points if their client wins.
Two additional sessions will follow later this year:
- Viking Homelands – August 20 (companion fare valued at up to $15,000)
- Capitals of Eastern Europe – September 24 (companion fare valued at up to $11,000)
