Journey Beyond has announced the appointment of Jo Boundy as Managing Director, Resorts & Lodges.

Jo joins Journey Beyond with extensive experience leading customer and commercial strategies and delivering growth and long-term value across the travel and tourism, media and financial services sectors.

She has led some of Australia’s most recognised brands through periods of transformation, growth and recovery.

Jo has held a range of senior executive leadership positions, most recently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Commonwealth Bank. Prior to this, she was Chief Marketing Officer for the Qantas Group and also held the role of Executive General Manager, Qantas Group Hotels & Holidays.

The Resorts & Lodges division will include responsibility for all of Journey Beyond’s resort and accommodation assets, including Ayers Rock Resort, Sal Salis, Monarto Safari Resort, Outback Spirit Lodges, the Kakadu Crocodile Hotel and the incoming K’gari Island’s Kingfisher Bay Resort and K’gari Beach Resort.

Jo will be based in Sydney, commencing from November 9.
