Philippine Airlines have joined as major sponsor for the latest edition of Beyond Borders On The Road.
Presented by the Australian Travel Industry Association, the Perth event will deliver timely insights into Asia-Pacific travel.
The event will equip attendees with the trade knowledge to capitalise on the growing market for the Philippines, with more than 300,000 Australians travelling to the destination in the YTD May 2026.
As part of their sponsorship, Philippine Airlines will deliver a session alongside the Philippine Department of Tourism, giving attendees insights into key experiences and destinations in the Philippines, as well as the strong connectivity between WA and the Philippines.
“Bringing Beyond Borders on the Road across the country is all about equipping our members with the tools to thrive in the current travel market,” said Dean Long, ATIA CEO.
“The way Aussies travel is changing and their session will help members sell Asia-Pacific travel to clients with a fresh angle.”
For WA-based tour operators, travel agents and corporate travel professionals, the Philippines is an exciting, developing market to sell for clients looking to explore Asian countries closer to home.
“Whether for business, wellness, education, culture or unforgettable holidays, the Philippines offers diverse experiences for Australian travellers and we look forward to strengthening industry partnerships and inspiring more visitors to discover all that the Philippines has to offer,” said Cassandra Sta. Maria-Camonggol, Officer in Charge, Philippine Department of Tourism – Sydney.
The Perth event takes place tomorrow (July 22).
