BEING 2026, Southeast Asia’s only dedicated business-to-business wellness conference, is retuning on September 2.

Held in Phuket, the event will bring together operators, investors and entrepreneurs at the forefront of the booming wellness travel economy.

The global wellness industry is predicted to be worth $US1.35 trillion by 2028, more than double its value in 2022, with Thailand emerging as one of Asia’s leading wellness destinations.

Bill Barnett, C9 Hotelworks Managing Director, said the format was deliberately active rather than observational.

“Thailand is one of the world’s great wellness destinations and Phuket has the practitioners, clinics, retreats and resorts to prove it. Following the success of the inaugural BEING event in 2025, when 600 attendees gathered for our action-packed forum, we are excited to bring the wellness community together once again,” Mr Barnett said.

The full-day, free-to-attend forum features three Conversations covering how wellness is redefining hospitality, driving destination demand and shaping healthcare ecosystems.

These will take place alongside 12 interactive workshops spanning AI, nutrition, longevity, recovery science and brand building, and three Movement Sessions giving delegates hands-on experience of the disciplines being discussed.

A Wellness Exchange will see 27 business-to-business exhibitors showcase their products and services throughout the day.

“Wellness is no longer an add-on or an afterthought. It is becoming the primary travel motivation for a huge number of people,” said Sumi Soorian, Founder of Mrs B Group and moderator at BEING 2026

Places are limited and advance registration is required. The event will take place at Angsana Laguna Phuket.
