A new beachfront dining and entertainment venue has opened at Sunset Bay Kuta, adding another element to Bali’s evolving hospitality scene.

Created by Savaya Group, Zumana combines dining, music, art and open air entertainment along Kuta’s coastline.

Designed by Rockwell Group, the venue includes beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open air dance floor, with programming designed to shift from daytime and sunset sessions into evening performances.

A central feature is Zenía, a 10-metre sculpture by artist Daniel Popper positioned within the venue’s open air performance area.

Alex Cordova, Savaya Group CEO, said the project was intended to contribute to a new phase for Kuta while reflecting the area’s longstanding role in Bali tourism.

“With Zumana, we want to be part of that revitalisation, honouring the spirit and energy that made Kuta iconic while creating something relevant to Bali today and for the generation ahead,” Mr Cordova said.

The venue opened on August 19, with an official grand opening weekend scheduled for September 25 and 26.

The Martinez Brothers will headline the Friday program, followed by a live performance from Satori on Saturday.

Zumana is open daily at Sunset Bay Kuta.
