Wild Bush Luxury has announced two new appointments across its Australian portfolio.
Frances Pollock joins Arkaba in South Australia while David Noakes (above) has been appointed at Bamurru Plains in the Northern Territory.
The move reflects the brand’s continued focus on delivering immersive, conservation driven experiences across some of Australia’s most remote and wildlife rich landscapes.
Arkaba is a private wildlife conservancy set within the Ikara Flinders Ranges. Known for its exclusive homestead stays and multi day walking experiences, Arkaba attracts travellers seeking a deeper connection to the outback through conservation and culture.
Ms Pollock brings more than 17 years of experience across pastoral and tourism operations in remote Australia.
She previously served as Managing Director of Wooleen Station in Western Australia, where she helped transform the historic property into a recognised leader in regenerative agriculture and conservation tourism.

Experienced leadership for Bamurru Plains
David Noakes joins Bamurru Plains, a wilderness lodge located near the floodplains of Kakadu National Park. The property is known for its safari style stays, rich birdlife and close up wildlife encounters in Australia’s Top End.
With more than 30 years of experience in remote lodge operations across Australia and New Zealand, Noakes brings extensive operational knowledge alongside a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable tourism.
Ben Brown, General Manager of Wild Bush Luxury, said the appointments reflect the company’s ongoing evolution.
“Frances and David each bring exceptional depth of experience in leading teams and managing complex operations in remote and environmentally significant landscapes. Their strong conservation values and commitment to authentic guest experiences make them ideal leaders for Arkaba and Bamurru Plains,” he said.
Strengthening a nature led portfolio
Wild Bush Luxury operates a collection of experiences across Australia including Bamurru Plains, Arkaba Walk and Homestead and the Maria Island Walk in Tasmania.
Each property is designed to connect guests with nature, offering access to remote locations where wildlife, landscape and culture take centre stage.
With these appointments, the company continues to strengthen its position within Australia’s growing nature based luxury travel sector, where demand for meaningful and immersive experiences continues to rise.
