Travellers flying between the islands of French Polynesia can now manage more of their journey from their phone following the launch of a new Air Tahiti mobile app.
Available on iOS and Android, the app brings together the airline’s main digital services, allowing passengers to book flights, manage reservations, check in online and receive real time flight notifications.
Users can also access their Kaveka loyalty account, check flight status, view fares and explore destinations across the Air Tahiti network.
The launch forms part of the airline’s wider digital transformation and is aimed at both regular inter-island travellers and visitors planning trips across French Polynesia.
Air Tahiti currently serves 48 islands across the country, as well as an international route to the Cook Islands, using a fleet of ATR aircraft.
The airline said the app was designed to make the travel process more straightforward by bringing booking, trip management and day of travel information into one place.
The Air Tahiti app is free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
