Travel advisors across Australasia have access to a revamped destination training platform designed to strengthen their knowledge and sales of The Islands of Tahiti.
The new Certified Tahiti Specialist Programme brings training, bookings, supplier connections, consumer leads, events and sales resources together in one central hub, accessible across mobile, tablet and desktop.
Advisors progress through four levels — Registered, Bronze, Silver and Gold — primarily by completing lessons, assessments and specialty badges.
Verified bookings can earn additional points, but there is no sales or revenue requirement to reach a tier.
Once Bronze, Silver or Gold status is achieved, it is permanent. Existing specialists will retain their current level, training history, badges and booking records when moving to the new platform.
New features include learning tracks that avoid repeating completed training, the ability to save notes within lessons and tools for managing consumer leads directly from the dashboard.
Booking confirmations can also be used to populate selected booking information, while an in-platform learning assistant can answer destination questions using Certified Tahiti Specialist content and direct advisors to relevant training material.
Webinars, industry events and specialist community features are also integrated into the platform, with higher tiers providing access to benefits including increased consumer visibility, supplier connections, famil opportunities and cooperative marketing.
Caroline Brunel, Tahiti Tourisme Australia & New Zealand Account Director, said the new programme reflected the important role travel advisors play in inspiring and guiding travellers to The Islands of Tahiti.
“We wanted to create a platform that goes beyond traditional destination training and becomes a resource advisors can genuinely use in their day-to-day business,” Ms Brunel said.
“Whether an advisor is discovering The Islands of Tahiti for the first time or is already one of our experienced specialists, the new programme gives them the tools, knowledge and opportunities to continue developing their expertise and create even better experiences for their clients.”
