Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed the first official images and videos of its newest ship, Norwegian Luna, as the vessel welcomes its first guests in Europe before beginning its inaugural Caribbean season from Miami.

The ship embarked on its first voyage on 10 March 2026 from Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy. Norwegian Luna will make its U.S. debut in Miami on 23 March 2026, ahead of its official christening ceremony on 27 March.

The newly released visuals highlight the ship’s modern architecture and next generation design, showcasing expansive outdoor spaces, contemporary lounges and a variety of experiences designed for multigenerational travellers.

Norwegian Luna has been designed to offer flexible and seamless holiday experiences, combining open air areas, dining venues and entertainment spaces that allow guests to tailor their cruise experience.

Marc Kazlauskas, President of Norwegian Cruise Line, said the ship reflects the brand’s approach to modern cruising.

“Norwegian Luna is an absolutely beautiful ship and the true definition of what it means to cruise with NCL. Guests will enjoy wide open outdoor spaces that bring them closer to the sea, thoughtful areas to relax, as well as exciting entertainment and exceptional cuisine. Norwegian Luna gives travellers the freedom to vacation their way while creating memorable moments with family and friends,” Kazlauskas said.

Following its Miami debut, Norwegian Luna will sail a series of three and four day Bahamas voyages, along with seven day Eastern Caribbean itineraries.

Beginning in November 2026, the ship will transition to Western Caribbean itineraries visiting destinations including Roatán in Honduras, Cozumel in Mexico and Harvest Caye in Belize.

In April 2027, Norwegian Luna will also begin sailing from New York City, offering four to seven day cruises to Bermuda.
