Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled a new daytime dining venue and updated restaurant menus ahead of the December debut of Seven Seas Prestige.
New to the ship will be Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose, an alfresco venue on Deck 5 serving a daytime menu of globally inspired dishes from noon to 6pm. The offering will include mezze, sushi, tapas, yakitori and Asian influenced small plates.
The cruise line has also revealed the menu for Azure, a new Mediterranean inspired specialty restaurant with dishes designed for sharing.
Highlights include miso roasted eggplant, gambas al ajillo, watermelon and feta salad, lobster orzo saganaki and duck leg confit.
Wesley D’Silva, Regent Seven Seas Cruises President, said the additions were intended to broaden the dining choices available on the new ship.
“As the first new Regent ship class in more than a decade, Seven Seas Prestige ushers in a new era for our brand, with extraordinary new experiences throughout the ship,” Mr D’Silva said.
The menu at Prime 7 will also be refreshed, with new versions of steakhouse classics including baby back ribs, lobster Thermidor, halibut fish and chips, truffle mac and cheese and a 14 layer chocolate mousse cake.
The updated Prime 7 recipes will debut aboard Seven Seas Prestige before being introduced across the wider fleet at a later date.
In total, the ship will offer 11 dining experiences, including Compass Rose, Pacific Rim, Chartreuse, Sette Mari at La Veranda, La Veranda, Pool Grill, Coffee Connection and 24 hour in-suite dining.
Seven Seas Prestige is scheduled to begin its inaugural season on December 13 with a 14-night transatlantic voyage from Barcelona to Miami, followed by itineraries in the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal and later in Europe.
