Flights and land tours were on offer as the Taiwan Tourism Administration hosted its Brisbane roadshow.
The event was supported by seven of Taiwan’s leading travel industry partners, including airlines and destination marketing companies.
“We are pleased to return for our annual engagement with the travel trade across Australia and New Zealand,” said Paul Shih, Director in charge of Australia and New Zealand at the Taiwan Tourism Administration.
“This year, we are introducing a broader range of experiences designed to appeal to a wider variety of travellers, including repeat visitors.”
Ganessan Suppiah, Taiwan Tourism Representative for Australia and New Zealand, highlighted Taiwan as a must-visit destination for Australian travellers, citing its visa-free entry, direct flight connectivity, and rich diversity of experiences across nature, culture, cuisine and adventure.
The roadshow adopted an exhibition-style format, enabling attendees to engage directly with all participating suppliers.
Throughout the evening, suppliers also visited each table to provide additional insights into their products and offerings.
Interactive cultural experiences – including Taiwan Tung flower 3D handicraft, the creation of mini sky lanterns using Hakka fabrics and Taiwan-inspired cuisine – were designed to immerse attendees in the spirit and creativity of Taiwan.
The grand lucky draw prizes of return air tickets were sponsored by China Airlines and EVA Airways. These prizes were complemented by land tour packages sponsored by Edison Tours, Lion Travel and Golden Foundation Tours.
