Qantas has launched its largest domestic airfare sale in more than five years, releasing 1.9 million discounted seats across its Australian network in both Economy and Business.
The sale includes one way Economy fares starting from $99, including flights from Byron Bay to Sydney, available for travel on select dates between 14 October and 20 December 2026. Discounted Business Class fares are also part of the sale, with Melbourne to Sydney flights available from $299, offering lounge access and higher Status Credit earn rates for frequent flyers.
With flights on sale across 60 destinations, the promotion gives travellers the chance to book everything from quick weekend getaways to regional escapes and capital city breaks.
The sale opens at 12.01am on Tuesday 10 February 2026 and runs until 11.59pm AEDT on Monday 16 February 2026, unless sold out earlier. Sale fares are available for selected travel dates throughout 2026.
All Qantas fares include checked baggage as well as complimentary food and beverages.
Qantas Domestic CEO Markus Svensson said the airline was making it easier for Australians to explore destinations closer to home.
“This is the largest domestic sale we’ve had in five years. We’ve got some of the best holiday destinations right on our doorstep, and this sale puts them within reach for more people,” Svensson said.
“From hidden regional gems to capital city favourites, we’re making it easier to discover our own backyard.
“With almost two million seats and great value fares in both Business and Economy, it’s a fantastic time to lock in that next holiday to explore Australia or reconnect with friends and family.”
Qantas has released a selection of one way Economy and Business sale fares across popular routes, with more deals available on its website. Travellers are encouraged to book early, with seats limited and subject to availability.
