Extreme Bike Tours is taking riders to the northern base camp of Mt Everest this September and twice in 2027 on two-wheeled Himalayan expeditions through Nepal and Tibet, with a 10 per cent saving available on bookings made before July 31, 2026.

The 14-night Tibet tour begins and ends in Kathmandu, taking riders across the vast Tibetan Plateau on classic Royal Enfield 450cc Himalayan motorbikes to the northern base camp of Everest, sitting at an altitude of 5,200m. The route also takes in the iconic Potala Palace in Lhasa, sacred temples and monasteries, serene lakes and the Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery in the world with striking views of Everest’s north face.

The round trip covers 2,270km with four to six hours of riding per day, and includes accommodation, meals, fuel, mechanical support and transfers throughout. The tour is available to licensed riders and pillion passengers.

Priced from US$5,265 (approx. $8,100) per person including the 10 per cent early booking saving, departures are September 2, 2026, and May 11 and September 6, 2027.
