G Adventures has announced the appointment of Georgia Nankivell as Global Purpose Specialist (GPS) for Victoria and Tasmania.
Georgia joined G Adventures in 2023 as a Global Connection Officer (GCO) and has since progressed through three sales roles, most recently as National Geographic Signature Specialist.
Her move into the GPS role marks the next step in a career defined by embracing opportunities, backing her skills and seeking roles where she can build meaningful relationships and create positive impact.
Throughout her time with G Adventures, Georgia has been a passionate contributor to the company’s culture and community.
She was selected to attend Leadership Camp at the Christmas markets in Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest in 2024, launched the “Band Practice” customer service team initiative in 2025 to encourage peer-driven feedback, and was recently selected as a mentor for the G Values Fund, where she will support an ex-G Adventures Chief Experience Officer in developing a purpose-driven community tourism enterprise.
“Georgia embodies so much of what we look for in a GPS – curiosity, ambition, resilience and a genuine desire to bring people with her,” says Tarryn Mitchell, National Sales Manager at G Adventures.
“Her progression through the business is a testament to her willingness to put her hand up, challenge herself and make the most of every opportunity. We can’t wait to see her bring that energy and experience to our agency partners across Victoria and Tasmania.”
In her new role, Georgia will work closely with agency partners across Victoria and Tasmania, supporting them with product, sales and marketing while helping them understand not only what makes G Adventures’ trips different, but the purpose and power of community tourism.
“I’m so incredibly proud to be taking this next step in my G Adventures journey,” says Georgia.
“I’m particularly excited about building meaningful, long-term relationships with our agency partners and sharing powerful traveller stories and my years’ of experience with the brand with our trusted partners.”
