As demand for fly-cruise holidays continues to grow, Royal Caribbean has unveiled a significant expansion of its Asia-Pacific deployment, with Voyager of the Seas® set to operate a diverse program of sailings from Brisbane, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong between October 2027 and April 2028.

The new season features voyages ranging from two to 15 nights, giving travel advisors a broad range of itineraries to match varying client needs.

The new deployment forms part of Royal Caribbean’s largest Asia-Pacific season to date, creating additional opportunities for agents to package a cruise with air, pre and post stays, and destination-based experiences across Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Cruising in Asia

The expansion also reinforces Asia’s position as one of the most sought-after cruise regions for Australian and New Zealand travellers.

A five-night sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong includes a call to Ho Chi Minh City, providing an attractive fly-cruise option that combines three of Asia’s most dynamic destinations in one journey.

From Hong Kong, advisors can tap into strong demand for cultural travel with a selection of holidays timed around Chinese New Year.

Sailings to Okinawa and Ishigaki showcase Japan’s southern islands, while selected getaways feature time in Taiwan and Vietnam offer an added selling point for clients seeking more.

Much Loved Voyager of the Seas®

Beyond the itineraries themselves, Voyager of the Seas® remains a strong performer for Australian and New Zealand travellers.

Families enjoy favourites such as the FlowRider® surf simulator, The Perfect Storm® waterslides, mini golf and laser tag, while couples appreciate the wide range of dining, entertainment and recreation options such as the adults-only Solarium, spa, gym and pickleball court.

This broad appeal enables travel advisors to confidently position the ship across a variety of customers, from multi-gen families and friend groups to couples and repeat cruisers looking to explore a new destination.

A Bigger Asia-Pacific Story

The new Voyager of the Seas® season also complements Royal Caribbean’s expanded program.

Alongside Navigator of the Seas® sailing year-round from Singapore, Ovation of the Seas® sailing from Brisbane, Anthem of the Seas® from Sydney and Spectrum of the Seas® offering sailings from Shanghai and Hong Kong, agents will have more itinerary combinations and departure options than ever before, giving more travellers the opportunity to experience Asia’s diverse cultures, flavours and destinations in a way that suits their individual travel preferences.

Trade Takeaway

For travel advisors marketing cruising in 2028, Voyager of the Seas® represents more than a new deployment. It delivers fresh reasons to engage past cruise customers, convert Asia-curious travellers and build higher-value fly-cruise packages.

With departures from four key gateways, seasonal event cruising and a mix of short, extended and one-way itineraries, the program offers strong potential across multiple client segments and booking windows.
