Award-winning singer and actress Vanessa Williams will join guests aboard Crystal Serenity for a special sailing later this year.
Celebrated for her versatility across music, television and stage, Ms. Williams is known for chart hits including Save the Best for Last and Love Is.
Her career spans decades, from acclaimed theatrical performances such as her current role as Miranda Priestly in Devil Wears Prada on the West End in London to television roles in Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives.
“Music has always been about connection and there’s something truly special about sharing that connection during the holiday season,” said Ms. Williams.
“I’m so excited to join Crystal Serenity this November and look forward to celebrating with my family and guests through music, stories and festive moments.”
During the voyage on November 23, Ms. Williams will take to the stage for an exclusive live performance, showcasing a curated selection of her greatest hits alongside seasonal favourites.
Guests will also enjoy an intimate Q&A session, offering a rare opportunity to hear personal stories and insights from her remarkable career – an experience designed to foster meaningful connection in an elegant setting.
The nine-night roundtrip voyage from Fort Lauderdale to Cartagena will feature stops in some of the most beautiful ports in the Caribbean.
# Meanwhile Thai cave rescue hero Dr Richard Harris will join Aurora Expeditions’ Antarctic voyages as a special guest.
The world-renowned Australian cave diver and specialist anaesthetist will join expeditioners in Antarctica, including Aurora’s polar dive program.
Dr Harris will travel on Across the Antarctic Circle, departing February 28, 2027, and Antarctica Complete, departing February 1, 2028, where he will share first hand insights from more than 30 years of cave-diving, technical diving, exploration and rescue experience through Aurora Expeditions’ onboard enrichment program.
Dr Harris will offer participating expeditioners a rare opportunity to learn from a world-leading diver in one of the planet’s most remote and remarkable marine environments.
His onboard talks will draw on the famous 2018 operation that saved 12 boys and their soccer coach from the flooded Tham Luang cave system in Chiang Rai, Thailand, as well as the broader lessons in resilience, leadership and decision-making under pressure.
