Saudi Arabia has launched a new Package Visa initiative that integrates tourist visa applications directly into travel bookings, reducing the number of steps between planning a trip and experiencing the country.

Ahmed Al Khateeb, Saudi Minister of Tourism, said the initiative reflected the country’s commitment to making travel more seamless for visitors.

“By integrating visa issuance with travel bookings, we are simplifying the visitor journey and creating a more connected travel experience. This initiative also strengthens collaboration across the tourism ecosystem and supports Saudi’s position as an increasingly accessible global destination,” Mr Al Khateeb said.

Through qualified travel and tourism service providers, eligible travellers can book flights, accommodation and a visa through one integrated process, with the option to add events, activities and tourism experiences.

The result is a single connected journey from booking to arrival rather than arranging each element separately.

The Package Visa builds on Saudi Arabia’s existing suite of entry options, including the tourist e-Visa, visa on arrival and the Stopover Transit Visa. Saudi Arabia welcomed more than 29 million inbound visitors in 2025.

The initiative is currently rolling out through qualified providers across selected international markets ahead of a broader global launch.

To be eligible, providers must meet clear service standards and offer 24/7 customer support.
