Cruise Traveller left no bone unturned in its recent bid to fetch names for its new mascot, a border collie puppy who came onboard with oceans of charm but no name.
The company ran a competition on its new Agents’ Facebook group to name the dog, who was also featured by Traveltalk, and there were many creative suggestions.
Names like Skipper, Clipper, Captain, Sailor, Cruze, Lido, Splash, Bounty, Ripple, Neptune, Good Buoy and even Captain Marco Pawlo!
The winning name in the end was Jett, with Maria Summers from Envoyage winning a $100 gift voucher for her entry.
But in a late twist, the final verdict was left with MD Joe O’Sullivan’s 11-year-old son, Jack.
He loved Jett but decided to tweak it little and settled on ‘Jed’ which everyone thought captured the pup’s personality perfectly!
