Q: What was your overall impression of the Global Stars 2025 trip? 

A: What an unforgettable experience! The Global Stars trip to Vietnam was the perfect blend of celebration, culture and connection.

From exploring the vibrant streets of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to the magic of Hoi An and Ha Long Bay, every moment was truly special.

It was amazing to share this journey with such inspiring people and it was a reminder of how rewarding it is to be part of a team with Viva Holidays, GO Holidays, ReadyRooms and Vivu Journeys.

Q: What were your highlights?

A: Where to start, but in no particular order…

• The food – The food was incredibly fresh, flavourful and authentic. Trying the different dishes and sharing meals with the group made it even more memorable.
• The accommodation – The hotels were excellent, very clean and welcoming. The staff were attentive and kind, making it easy to relax and enjoy the trip.
• The history – Leaning about the rich history and culture of Vietnam was eye-opening. Visiting historical sites and hearing local stories gave me a deeper appreciation for the resilience and spirit of the Vietnamese people.
• The tour – Every day brought exciting new experiences, from the bustling cities to peaceful countryside. Transport was smooth and well organised, allowing us to enjoy the journey as much as the destinations.
• The shopping – Exploring the local markets was colourful, lively and fun. Finding unique souvenirs and interacting with locals added a personal and authentic touch to the trip.
• Transport – Our ground handling staff from Vivu Journeys were amazing and their knowledge was so insightful.

Q: What was the overall feeling from the others stars on the trip? 

A: The energy from everyone on the trip was amazing, friendly, enthusiastic and supportive. It always feels like being part of one big, happy family.

Q: Global Stars is a reward trip. Were you treated to any extra special experiences? 

A: The seaplane ride over Halong Bay was memorable and the overnight cruise was magical. Experiencing sunrise and sunset on the water was unforgettable and highlighted Vietnam’s natural beauty. Not forgetting the opportunity to swim in Halong Bay as well.

There were just so many special experiences afforded to us on this trip.

Q: Did you learn or discover any key takeaways about the region that will help you with clients interested in Vietnam?

A: The trip reinforced what travellers value most: authentic experiences, well organised tours, great accommodation. These insights will help me provide recommendations and plan trips that balance adventure, culture and relaxation.

Q: What was unexpected or surprising about the trip?  

A: I was surprised by Vietnam’s diversity. From bustling cities to serene landscapes and the warmth of the people we met.

Small moments, like tasting new dishes or discovering hidden gems, were unexpectedly memorable.

Also, the opportunity in future to just offer Vietnam as a relaxing getaway as an alternative to other destinations.

Q: We understand you have been on many Global Stars trips. What is so special about them? 

A: What makes Global Stars trips so special is the perfect mix of exploration, learning and connection. Thoughtful planning, exciting activities and the positivity and camaraderie of fellow travellers make each trip more than just travel – they are experiences that leave lasting memories and inspiration.

I have been so very fortunate over the years to travel with so many inspiring agents.

Q: Summing up – anything else to add? 

A: The trip was a beautiful opportunity to explore a remarkable country, connect with amazing people and renew old friendships.

The opportunity to create new memories will always stay with me. I feel grateful for the experience and feel inspired by everything I learned along the way.
