Air Canada will make history next month as the first Official Airline Partner of the Sydney Film Festival, and is giving Australian movie lovers the chance to win a trip for two to British Columbia.
Running from June 3 to 14, this year’s festival features almost 250 films from 81 countries, including 19 world premieres.
Eunica Pineda, Air Canada Marketing and Online Sales Manager, said the partnership reflected the airline’s long history of supporting film culture.
“Air Canada has a long and proud history of supporting Canadian film makers and sponsoring film festivals, which like us have a passion for bringing people together to experience different cultures, share stories and, ultimately, create enduring memories,” Ms Pineda said.
As Official Airline Partner, Air Canada will operate a Welcome Lounge in the Festival Hub at Sydney Town Hall, where visitors can try Poutine by Air Canada.
