A new onboard speaker series will bring writers, editors and media figures aboard selected Seabourn voyages.

The first lineup includes David Frum, Megan Garber, Yvonne Rolzhausen and Evan Smith, who will take part in Seabourn Conversations aboard Seabourn Ovation.

Megan Garber and Yvonne Rolzhausen will join the 13-day ‘Atlantic Coast: Lighthouses & New England Charms’ voyage from October 31 to November 13.

Ms Garber writes on culture and media and is the author of Screen People: How We Entertained Ourselves into a State of Emergency and On Misdirection: Magic, Mayhem, American Politics. Ms Rolzhausen is a Managing Editor and Head of Fact-Checking at The Atlantic.

David Frum and Evan Smith will appear on the eight-day ‘Southern Caribbean Gems’ sailing from November 20 to 28.

Mr Frum is a staff writer and host of The David Frum Show podcast, covering policy, politics, history, arts and literature. Mr Smith oversees events for The Atlantic and previously co-founded and led The Texas Tribune.

Kacy Cole, Seabourn Chief Marketing Officer, said the move was intended to add another layer of enrichment to selected voyages.

“By bringing some of today’s most compelling voices aboard, we’re creating conversations that spark new ideas, broaden perspectives and make meaningful discovery an even more defining part of the Seabourn experience,” Ms Cole said.

Further programming will be announced for 2027, with the promotion culminating in a dedicated 12-day voyage aboard Seabourn Quest departing October 4, 2028, during the cruise line’s 40th anniversary year.
