A new recovery and longevity retreat has opened in Bali, with early bookings indicating growing demand from male travellers for structured wellness programs focused on mental fitness, performance and recovery.
Mana Sanctuary has opened with a maximum capacity of 14 guests and a team of more than 40 specialists. Half of its early bookings have come from men, with strong interest in the dedicated Men’s Mental Fitness pathway.
Every guest begins with a six-night Foundation Reset incorporating protein focused meals, contrast therapy, breathwork and daily movement, before adding one of seven specialist pathways covering longevity, Ayurveda, movement, mindfulness, rest, healing and men’s mental fitness.

Janine Cottle, Mana Sanctuary Co-founder, said the retreat was designed for people managing high levels of responsibility and performance rather than those simply looking for a conventional wellness break.
“Burnout was never a women’s issue or a men’s issue – it’s what happens when high performance isn’t matched with real recovery,” Ms Cottle said.
Guests complete a detailed consultation before arrival, allowing the retreat team to prepare individual programs in advance.
Specialists include a functional doctor, Ayurveda doctor, healer, chiropractor, nutritionist and movement trainer, with each guest also receiving a personalised 21-day integration program to continue after returning home.

Facilities include a riverside lap pool, cold plunge, infrared sauna, jacuzzi, treatment rooms, sleep focused accommodation and a protein forward kitchen.
An outdoor gym is scheduled to open in December, while recovery therapies available onsite include PEMF, red light therapy and IV infusions.
Mana Sanctuary is a sister property to Escape Haven, the Bali women’s retreat founded by Ms Cottle in 2008, and extends the model to men and couples.
Opening rates are available until October 31, with six-night stays starting from $US2,797 (approx. $AU3,900) and specialist pathways from $US999 (approx. $AU1,406).
