Traveltalk’s Vietnam holiday competition attracted a huge number of entries, with readers finding plenty of creative ways to explain why the country should be their next adventure.
Vietnamese coffee, bowls of pho and the challenge of crossing Hanoi’s scooter filled streets featured heavily, alongside clever wordplay, heartfelt stories and more than a few ambitious attempts to squeeze an entire itinerary into 25 words.
While some entrants showed incredible creativity in supporting their submissions, the competition was judged solely on the answer of 25 words or less submitted through the official entry form.
After reading through the many entries, the Traveltalk team selected travel agent Lisa Thomas from Travel Managers, Kirkham, NSW as the winner.
Lisa’s entry stood out for its humour, simplicity and clever final line. You could even say it was pho-nomenal.
