A panel of independent, university level assessors have evaluated each nominee’s video or written submission to establish the top five scoring nominees in each category.
In seven categories, a top six has been declared due to there being a tie in scores.
An additional round of judging took place for the hotly contested categories – Most Outstanding Sales Executive for Air, Cruise, Tour Operator and Wholesaler.
This was due to the high quality of their submission responses and the results achieved by these individuals in the last 12 months.
For the business categories, scoring for the Sustainability Award – ATIA Accredited Agency was the tightest with just 5.5 points separating the first and 12th placed nominees.
This reflects a growing focus on aligning sustainability initiatives with consumer preference for sustainable travel.
The NTIA 2025 will be held on October 18 at The Star in Brisbane.
