A curated collection of winter escapes is back for 2026, with Coolcations returning across a portfolio of luxury boutique hotels and retreats from Ardour, Spicers Retreats and Bannisters.

Victoria Peterson, Salter Brothers Hospitality Senior Group Director of Marketing Performance, said the campaign reflected a growing desire to embrace winter rather than escape it.

“We are seeing guests actively seek out destinations that offer atmosphere, tranquillity and meaningful experiences during the colder season. Through these winter packages we are aiming to showcase the diversity of winter across Australia, from elevated culinary experiences to wellness-led retreats and immersive nature stays,” Ms Peterson said.

Across Queensland, properties including Spicers Peak Lodge in Maryvale, Spicers Clovelly Estate in Montville and Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny offer firepit experiences, mulled wine and misty hinterland mornings.

In New South Wales, packages span the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Sydney and the South Coast, with highlights including stargazing and mulled wine at The Hydro Majestic Hotel, cheese and wine pairings at The Convent Hunter Valley and coastal winter experiences at Bannisters by the Sea in Mollymook.

In South Australia, Kingsford The Barossa brings winter warmth to the Barossa Valley with a fireside affogato featuring local ice cream, liqueur and house-made biscuit.

All packages include daily breakfast for two alongside seasonally inspired inclusions unique to each property.

Coolcations packages are available to book until July 7, with stays running from June 1 to August 31. A two-night minimum applies for Saturday stays.
