Melbourne’s dining and drinking scene has a major new address with the opening of five venues at Southbank’s Hannah St Hotel, marking The Mulberry Group’s first venture into hotels and its largest project to date.

Located within The Queensbridge Building, Hannah St Hotel brings together all-day hospitality under one roof, designed to move seamlessly from morning coffee through to late-night cocktails. Designed by Flack Studio, the venues are anchored by menus from Executive Chef Andrew Beddoes, whose background includes Michelin-starred kitchens and institutions such as J. Sheekey, Soho House and Enoteca Boccaccio.

At lobby level, Bar Hannah reimagines the traditional hotel bar as a neighbourhood hub, inspired by Milanese modernism and open from early morning coffee through to late-night drinks. Just beyond, Carriage Lounge offers a darker, more intimate retreat, pairing classic bar snacks with a strong local wine and cocktail list.

On the 10th floor, The Terrace Lounge delivers one of Melbourne’s newest rooftop experiences, blending indoor and outdoor spaces with Parisian conservatory flair, city views and a menu built for sharing at sunset. Down at street level, Hannah St Coffee serves grab-and-go Square One coffee at classic Melbourne prices, while doubling as the entry point to Coupette Corner Bistro & Bar.

Coupette rounds out the offering with a Euro-inspired all-day bistro menu, transitioning from breakfast favourites to lunch classics and evening staples such as steak frites and lamb rump, all set within a light-filled space overlooking Southbank.

Together, the five venues position Hannah St Hotel as a new food and drink destination for both locals and visitors, reinforcing Melbourne’s reputation as Australia’s cultural and culinary capital.
