Four independently owned Hobart properties have joined a global reservation and distribution platform, expanding their reach to domestic and international travellers while retaining their individual brands.
The Lenna Group properties include Lenna of Hobart, Salamanca Suites, Salamanca Terraces and Hobart Waterfront Apartments, all located around Hobart’s waterfront and Salamanca precinct.
The hotels will now be available through Choice Hotels International’s reservation and distribution network, giving the Tasmanian group access to broader sales channels while remaining independently owned and operated.
Trent Conroy, Choice Hotels Asia-Pac Head of Investments and Portfolio Growth, said the additions would strengthen the company’s presence in Tasmania.
“Lloyd and Jan Clark have built an exceptional hospitality business and we’re proud to help introduce their distinctive Tasmanian properties to more travellers around the world through Choice Hotels’ global reservation channels,” Mr Conroy said.
Lloyd Clark, Lenna Group Director, said the arrangement would help the business reach new guests without changing the identity of its properties.
“Working with Choice Hotels will help raise awareness of our properties among travellers in Australia and around the world, while preserving the independent character, identity and guest experience that make each one unique,” Mr Clark said.
The four properties are now bookable through Choice Hotels’ website and mobile app.
