Intrepid Travel has appointed Shaun McKay as Key Partnerships Manager for Western Australia and the Northern Territory, strengthening its support for travel advisors across both regions.
Based in Perth, Mr McKay began his travel career in Melbourne in 2017 before returning to Western Australia in 2020. He previously joined an Intrepid Sell 12 famil in 2019.
In his new role, Mr McKay will work with advisors and industry partners across WA and the NT, supporting local trade activity, strengthening relationships and helping drive long-term growth.
Megan Lowe, Intrepid Travel Head of Partnership ANZ, said the appointment reflected the company’s continued investment in local trade support.
“Building strong partnerships is at the heart of what we do and Shaun’s experience and energy make him a fantastic addition,” Ms Lowe said.
Mr McKay said he was looking forward to joining the team and working more closely with advisors across the two regions.
“I’ve long admired Intrepid and have spent the past few years building my experience, ready for an opportunity like this.

The appointment follows Intrepid’s busiest-ever month for departures and comes ahead of its Black Friday sales period in November.
