Time Out Australia has launched its inaugural Travel Awards, recognising hotels, destinations, attractions and experiences across the country.
Editors’ Choice nominees have been selected across 10 categories, including ‘Best Luxury Stay’, ‘Best Boutique Stay’, ‘Best Affordable Stay’, ‘Best Family-Friendly Stay’, ‘Best Attraction’, ‘Best Destination’, ‘Best Eco Tourism’ and ‘Best Wellness Travel’.
Time Out said nominees were selected by its editorial team, with editors personally visiting and assessing the stays, destinations and experiences included in the awards.
Melissa Woodley, Time Out Australia Editor, said the awards were designed to highlight the range of travel experiences available across the country.
“I truly believe Australia is one of the most diverse places on earth – we have world-class experiences for every kind of traveller, whether you’re into adventure, eco-tourism, wellness or pure five-star luxury,” Ms Woodley said.
The awards also include three People’s Choice categories covering ‘Favourite Hotel’, ‘Favourite Destination’ and ‘Favourite Travel Experience or Attraction’.
Public voting closes November 13, with voters going into the draw to win a $500 Visa gift card.
Winners across both the Editors’ Choice and People’s Choice categories will be announced on November 23.
