One of the highlights of the World Cup hasn’t necessarily been the football – it’s been the rowing celebration of the Norway fans.
They’ve become a worldwide TV and social media sensation with their synchronised performance, with the team and manager joining in on the pitch.
Now their fame has spread to the high seas with Hurtigruten’s crew getting into the spirit aboard two ships currently sailing the Norwegian coast.
On MS Polarlys, crew filmed a Team Norway ‘Ro!’ cheer on the gangplank on their return to Bergen – the kind of footage that we’re all seeing online across the world as Norway football fever takes hold.
And aboard the newly refurbished MS Vesterålen, the crew joined in with their own version on the top deck.
We can only wait and see what will happen if Norway actually win the World Cup!
