The lodge is situated deep in Monarto Safari Park’s Wild Africa precinct, offering an intimate and secluded escape.
A stay includes all meals and beverages as well as an exclusive safari adventure with Monarto Safari Park in a custom-built open-sided 4WD Landcruiser across the 550 hectares of the Wild Africa precinct.
Chris Tallent, Journey Beyond CEO, said he was delighted guests could now book South Australia’s newest luxury stay for when it opens on April 2, featuring 20 luxury safari tents.

Guests can enjoy an exhilarating front row seat to nature’s spectacle with sweeping views of the waterhole from their own private deck. View view, zebra, giraffe, barbary sheep, nyala, ostrich, eland and oryx as they gather to drink.
Each luxury safari tent offers an outdoor deck furnished for relaxation, a spacious lounge area and a king or twin bed, with two accessibility tents available. Completing the experience are an ensuite bathroom and private dressing room.
Dining is an exclusive experience for guests, featuring a private restaurant showcasing South Australia’s celebrated local produce through generous breakfasts and multi-course dinners.
While not taking in the wildlife, guests can access the onsite pool and private plunge pools, the gym, pickleball court and the outdoor lounge, the perfect spot for sundowners as wildlife roam nearby or do some stargazing before bed.
