After a sell-out debut in 2025, Club Med is bringing back its mum-centric wellness escape — and this time, it’s heading to the Maldives.
Running from 5–10 November 2026 at the idyllic Club Med Kani, Mumcation 2.0 promises an elevated programme designed to help mothers truly switch off, reset and reconnect.
With research showing 74% of women feel stressed juggling work and family commitments, the all-inclusive pioneer has doubled down on its mission to give mums something rare: uninterrupted time for themselves.
Whether travelling solo or with friends, guests will be immersed in a five-night experience that blends structured wellness with the freedom of a premium all-inclusive holiday. The 2026 edition introduces refreshed programming and a new Indian Ocean backdrop of white sands and turquoise waters.
Wellness coach Tammi Kirkness returns to lead three half-day mindfulness workshops focused on holistic wellbeing and sustainable self-care practices. The programme also includes a 30-minute customised massage and a welcome cocktail event designed to foster connection among the group.
Packages start from $3,099* per person twin share.
Head of Meetings and Events for Club Med Pacific Julie Voultepsis said the concept was born from a simple but powerful observation.
“Even when mothers take time away, they’re still organising and caring for everyone else. We wanted to create something that gave mums permission to rest properly, without guilt and without expectations.”
The response to the inaugural event confirmed strong demand for wellness-led escapes tailored specifically to modern motherhood. Unlike traditional retreats, Mumcation combines meaningful wellbeing programming with the ease of Club Med’s fully inclusive model, including gourmet dining and open bar to land and water sports, entertainment and seamless airport transfers.
General Manager for Club Med Pacific and New ESAP Markets Michelle Davies said the concept reflects a wider evolution in travel behaviour.
“Mumcation embodies how travel is evolving — it’s no longer just about escaping, but about supporting emotional wellbeing and personal growth,” she says. “Our all-inclusive model removes the mental load of planning, allowing mums to truly switch off.”
A key differentiator is flexibility. Guests can attend solo for uninterrupted me-time, or bring their children and take advantage of Club Med’s renowned Kids Clubs (ages 4–17), creating space for balance on their own terms.
Set against the serene beauty of the Maldives, the experience blends structure and spontaneity — attend workshops or simply unwind by the lagoon.
With the global wellness tourism market projected to reach US$2.1 trillion by 2030, Mumcation positions Club Med at the forefront of purposeful, female-focused travel.
More than just a week away, the initiative aims to shift the narrative around maternal self-care — normalising restorative time and reframing it as essential rather than indulgent.
Bookings for Mumcation 2026 are open from 12 February until 5 November, with limited places available.
